Rep. Gillibrand to Speak Annual Meeting Gillibrand to Speak at Annual Meeting
Book now to attend EDC’s 8th Annual Luncheon at the Hiland Park Country Club, Queensbury, on April 27 at noon. This year, our speaker will be Congresswoman Kirsten Gillibrand (D-Greenport). In the first quarter of her term, Gillibrand has already proved herself an advocate for small business, voting for the Small Business Tax Relief Act of 2007, which passed the house last month with broad bipartisan support. In addition to cutting taxes for small businesses, Congressman Gillibrand has stated that she will make cutting taxes for middle class families a priority in Congress. Continue to full story

As a strategic part of its overall marketing plan for 2007, EDC will participate in seven major trade shows targeted at specific technology recruitment opportunities for the Warren County/Glens Falls area. Incubator Names New Leader
The Board of Directors of the Adirondack Regional Business Incubator (ARBI) has named Jeff Farley Executive Director effective April 16. Most recently, Jeff was president of Churchill Associates, a local consulting firm specializing in management skills, leadership performance, and organizational strategy. His resume also includes work for Revlon Health Care and Castrol North America. Read Full Story.
