Business Incubator Opens With Event at ACC
The Adirondack Regional Business Incubator (ARBI) unfurls it’s “open for business” banner with a launch event at Adirondack Community College (Miller Auditorium in Dearlove Hall) on June 28, from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. “This is just the first in a series of events we’ll hold to raise awareness about ARBI and to let people know that we are open for business,” explained Jeff Farley, executive director. “Although our building at 36 Elm Street in Downtown Glens Falls is still undergoing renovations, we are currently accepting applications from businesses that would like to locate in the incubator, as well as those that would like to start now as ARBI program affiliates.” Continue to full story

The newly launched EDC Web site has been designed to showcase Warren County as a great place to do business. It also positions EDC as the first place to stop for economic development information and assistance. In this issue, we are profiling the Buildings & Sites section of the Web site, which contains an innovative database of available commercial and industrial space for lease and sale, as well as details on the county’s (HOW MANY?) industrial parks.
