EDC plans Web improvements
Earlier this year, EDC launched an initiative to completely overhaul its Web site. "The project represents one of several steps we're taking to both increase access to essential development-related information, and to simplify and improve the client experience," said EDC President Len Fosbrook. "The new site will incorporate themes introduced in the organization's recent logo redesign and provide intuitive access to local and regional economic development data, including key information about EDC projects, programs, services, and related activities."

EDC has secured the services of CRSR Designs, Inc., a Web-development firm with significant experience in the economic development field. The firm's award-winning design team is already working to categorize content and determine the most appropriate architecture for the site. The Web site redesign should be completed in September, with a public launch planned for October.
